This page consists of my video reflection of this course. In this video I will navigate my experiences throughout this course, highlight what I have learnt, and how I've grown as a designer.
Photo Retouching The concept was to get an image from an online source, or any other sources and manipulate that image into photoshop and combine both of them side -by-side to see the finish outcomes between both. Hence, I used my very own photo and manipulated it. To manipulate my image, I used the ten (10) tools learnt in class and I will thoroughly explain how I used each of them below: 1. Healing Brush Tool: I used this tool to retouch and smoothing my skin imperfections. I effectively leveraged the Healing Brush to lighten and refine the surface of my face, creating a more even and flawless complexion. 2. Spot Healing Tool: Similar to the Healing Brush, I used the Spot Healing Tool to seamlessly eliminate the bumps and dark spots, on my face further enhancing the overall appearance of my skin. 3. Ad campaign The concept of doing this project was deciding on a business to use, and the idea of choosing what I will include in the ad. Hence, I chose to make an ad for Benny’s as shown below my ad in five different sizes include a labor clearance day sale. Whereby it is 70% sale discount on all woods lasting from April 1st - 30th. Concluding that I made two different ads and change the layout based on my ad sizes. The tools I used was (1) Artboard Tool: This was a crucial tool for me, as it enabled me to set up different artboard sizes to represent the various ad formats and layouts I needed to accommodate. (2) Resize Tool: This tool gave me the ability to scale and transform objects, text, and entire artboards. This allowed me to easily adjust the size and proportions of my ad elements to fit the different artboard sizes established.
